Catholic Diocese of Raleigh

Status: Current, 2004 – present

Manage web site content for Catholic diocese serving Eastern North Carolina;
Provide consultation on use of new media, including audio/video
content and blogs;
Identify ways to automate business processes and direct the development of technology tools to make better use of staff resources;
Led web site redesign project in 2004-2005, including gathering
requirements, writing request for proposals, interviewing development companies, selecting a vendor, providing specifications for a custom built content management system, creating and migrating content for the new site, and directing the development project to completion.

Semiconductor Research Corporation

Status: Completed, 1998 – 2006

Managed web site content and served as usability advocate for
corporation’s three web sites;
Participated in major redesign and re-engineering of sites in 2000-2001 and again in 2003-2004, including content organization and optimization of site features for usability;
Managed migration of content from old sites to new sites, including implementation of ASP code;
Established web site standards and guidelines and provided training for content managers.

Identified business needs and recommended ways to use a web site to meet them;
Managed site development in 1998 and re-design in 2005;
